Resumen: El escultor Ángel Ferrant participó en diversos eventos relacionados con la educación en arte. Su vocación pedagógica le animó a compaginar la práctica artística con la enseñanza. Consideró que el sistema educativo de su época debía renovarse para lograr la ansiada transformación artística. No obstante, antes de alcanzar la fama de renovador de la pedagogía artística en España, tuvo que formarse y emprender una larga carrera docente llena de valiosas experiencias. Algunas de sus ideas o propuestas iniciales, sobre ciertos aspectos relativos a la enseñanza del arte, evolucionarán con el paso del tiempo.
 
 The sculptor Ángel Ferrant took part in the variety of events associated with education in art. His pedagogical vocation encouraged him to combine his artistic practice with teaching. He believed that the educational system of his time should be modernized in order to achieve the longed-for artistic transformation. Before becoming famous for being a reformer of the artistic pedagogy in Spain, he had to undergo some training and undertake a long teaching career, full of valuable experiences. Some of his ideas or initial proposals about certain aspects related to art teaching will evolve with the passage of time.

Resumen: Este trabajo plantea la llegada de las resinas sintéticas al hecho artístico tras la 2ª Guerra Mundial. Podremos conocer cuáles son las características específicas de algunos polímeros por las que algunos artistas se han sentido atraídos y han decidido hacerlos suyos para adecuarlos a lo que desean expresar en sus creaciones volumétricas o qué finalidad estética buscan con su empleo. Por lo general, los escultores han utilizado los plásticos cuyas propiedades más se adecuan al discurso narrativo plástico que buscan para ejecutar sus obras, y que no hubiera sido posible con otros materiales.
 
 This work raises the arrival of the synthetic resins to the artistic fact after 2 ª World War. We will be able to know which are the specific characteristics of some polymers for which some artist have felt attracted and have decided to make them his (yours) to adapt them to what they want to express in his volumetric creations or what aesthetic purpose they search with his employment. In general, the sculptors have used the plastic ones whose properties more are adapted to the narrative plastic speech for that they look to execute his works, and that had not been possible with other materials.

Resumen: Se proporciona información sobre la biografía y el trabajo de creación de algunas artistas españolas ignoradas generalmente en los libros, pero que, desde la Edad Media hasta nuestros días, han realizado obras artísticas. El objetivo es que estos conocimientos se transmitan a los alumnos en los diversos niveles de enseñanza y que el trabajo de estas artistas se incorpore a los contenidos educativos y se reivindique la aportación de las mujeres a la historia del arte.
 
 I inform about the biography and creative works of some Spanish women artists generally unknown in the books, but they made work of art since the Middle Ages to the contemporary time. The objective is that these learning can teach to students in all the grades and the creative work of these women artists be incorporated to the educative contents claiming back the women’ contribution to Art History.

Resumen: Producto de los cambios sociales y económicos experimentados como consecuencia del surgimiento de la sociedad posmoderna, y conscientes del nuevo espacio social que se ha configurado como resultado, el objetivo de este texto es analizar los antecedentes inmediatos de la sociedad postindustial para pasar, posteriormente, a contextualizar dichas transformaciones en un ámbito puntual: el artístico.
 
 Product of the social and economic changes experienced as consequence of the emergente of the postmodern society, and conscious of the new social space that has been forme like prove, the aim of this text is to analyze the immediate precedents of the postindustrial society to spend later to contextualize the above mentioned transformations in a punctual area: the artistic one.

Resumen: Hay representaciones artísticas que denigran e infravaloran a la mujer y que a veces pasamos desapercibidas, ¿o acaso no pecaron de misóginos los escultores griegos que tallaban las korai escondiendo todo rasgo de belleza o anatomía frente a los apolíneos kuroi?, misoginia igualmente se observa en El juramento de los Horacios de David, donde los valerosos y patriotas son los hombres frente a las mujeres que unicamente saben llorar y lamentarse… De estas diferencias va a tratar este artículo intentando analizar obras de arte de diferentes estilos en las que los artistas fueron “cómplices” o denunciaron el maltrato a la mujer, estudiando en ellas cómo se trató el tema de una violación, de la prostitución, el acoso sexual o la imagen de la mal llamada mujer fatal.

Resumen: Nos encontramos en un momento en el que el hombre, ha retomado el amor por la naturaleza, el paisaje y los jardines, en el que artistas y creadores han encontrado “otra vez” su fuente de inspiración. El paisaje, está vinculado a la historia de las culturas, colaborando a un mejor conocimiento de la condición humana, de sus momentos y cambios.
 
 We are in a while in that the man, has revive the love by nature, landscapes and gardens, in which artists and creators have found “again” their source of inspiration. The landscape is tie to the history of the cultures, collaborating to a better knowledge of the human condition, of its moments and changes.

Resumen: Los Oficios de arte constituyen un género dentro del mundo del arte aun no muy bien definido, ni tampoco muy bien valorado. En los últimos años, esta concreta parcela de la Cultura se presenta con una nueva perspectiva, significándose como un interesante y productivo ámbito de investigación de gran atractivo y consideración entre los estudiosos del Patrimonio. Los oficios de arte son un destacado y valioso referente cultural, por su condición de promotores del “potencial endógeno”, factor de progreso local y fuente de creación de empleo, puesto que contribuyen de forma directa y sostenible al desarrollo económico de las regiones, así como al mantenimiento de las culturas territoriales. Bajo la categoría de “oficios de artes” se reúnen todas aquellas actividades y producciones artísticas de calidad, que por su condición no pueden ser enmarcadas ni como “Arte” ni como “artesanía”. La desaparición de gran parte de los maestros y especialistas de muchos de los oficios, supone que la supervivencia de una parte destacada de nuestras tradiciones no se pueda ya garantizar por la simple transmisión de conocimientos, que antaño la práctica en los talleres aseguraba. Haciendo necesario el rescate y la adecuación de los oficios de arte, a través de un programa de estímulos empresariales, la incorporación de recursos innovadores y la continuidad y el relevo generacional desde una sustantiva y adecuada mejora de la formación.
 
 Art trades represent a part of the world of art neither clearly defined nor greatly appreciated. During last years, specifically this piece of Culture has adopted a new perspective, becoming an interesting and productive field of investigation and acquiring great value among those skilled in the Cultural Heritage. Art trades are an important and outstanding cultural reference, not only because they contribute to local improvement, creating new jobs and aiding to the economic development of regions, but also because Art trades help maintaining territorial culture alive, due to their role as promoters of the “endogenous potential”. The term Art Trades covers all those quality artistic activities and productions which cannot be regarded neither as “Art” nor as “Crafts”. The disappearance of most masters and specialists in many of these trades entails that survival of a large part of our traditions is no longer guaranteed, as in the old days, by the simple transmission of knowledge carried out in workshops. Art Trades must therefore be aided by means of a program for stimulating new investments, incorporating innovative resources and providing better training resources for the creation of a new generation of craftsmen.

Resumen: Esta propuesta metodológica de investigación en Bellas Artes se divide en dos partes. En la Primera se expone el fenómeno autorreflejo del arte, que se propone llamar “Rizo metódico”, o inclusión en el objeto artístico de su propio criterio de comprensión. En correspondencia con este modo autorreflejo, se propone relacionar las cuatro condiciones básicas de la creación artística (capacidad fabril, pregunta conceptual, interpretación de las reglas, decisión espacial) con otras tantas fórmulas investigadoras concretas. En la segunda parte, se ensaya una “Teoría del Retruécano” como ejemplo posible de una investigación sobre la capacidad del arte de transparentar el mundo. Señalando algunos síntomas del arte y el pensamiento del s XX que revisan el programa representacional del arte, se propone el mundo como macrosujeto que nutre y modela las formas del arte más allá de la voluntad del artista.
 
 This methodological proposal of investigation in Fine Arts is divided in two parts. Firstly the self-reflexive phenomenon of Art is exposed. We propose to call “methodical curl” the fact of inclusion in the artistic object of its own criterion of understanding. In correspondence with this self-reflexive way, sets out to relate the four basic conditions of the artistic creation (manufacturing capacity, conceptual asks, interpretation of the rules, decision about space) to other so many concrete investigating formulas. In the second part, a “Theory of play on words (retruécano)” as possible example of an investigation is tried like a special capacity of the art to be transparent the world. There are shown some symptoms of art and thought in twentieth century reviewing the historical capacity of the art to represent. The world sets out as a great subject responsible for the forms of the art. And this entire question is proposed beyond the will of the artist.
