Resumen: El ensayo muestra el desarrollo de talleres (permanentes) de arte en la psiquiatría en Alemania. Destaca los factores de su nacimiento en el arte, la psiquiatría y la sociedad y, por medio de ejemplos, habla de sus tendencias actuales. En este sentido enfatiza la gran heterogeneidad de talleres, así como de sus conceptos y sus estructuras de organización.
The essay observes the evolution of artistic studios in psychiatries in Germany. It points out factors of their origins in art, psychiatry and society and talks, by means of examples, about current tendencies. Thereby it detects a great heterogeneity of studios as much in their concepts as in their organisational structures.

Resumen: Mirada general al panorama del Arte Irregolare en Italia. Se citan los diversos sectores en que se posicionan algunas de las personas que practican el arte como una exigencia vital, con urgencia creadora y que se encuentran fuera de la crítica artística considerada ofi cial. En este ámbito se encuentra el arte psicopatológico nacido espontáneamente en los viejos manicomios, el arte naïf, los artistas solitarios, los marginales y aquellos que trabajan en las estructuras protectoras de los talleres. Una nota especial merece la influencia que tuvo Franco Basaglia con la ley 180 del año 1978 que revolucionó la estructura de los manicomios llevando un gran cambio en el ámbito de la atención de la enfermedad psiquiátrica, y en especial, infl uenciando e incentivando el nacimiento de los primeros talleres en los hospitales psiquiátricos italianos. La parte fi nal resume el estado actual con algunas consideraciones críticas sobre la función y posición de los talleres contemporáneos con respecto a la crítica artística y a la atención psiquiátrica.
A general view of art irregolare scene in Italy.It is mentioned the different sectors where some people who practice art as a vital demand, with a creative urgency, and who are outside of the considered ofi cial artisitic criticism,are placed. In the end, there is an abstract about the actual state, with some reviews about the function and position of contemporary workshops according to the artistic criticism and to the psychiactric attention.

Resumen: La existencia de cada ser humano es comparable a un grano de arena perdido en la inmensidad del océano y aunque solos se parecen al polvo, reunidos forman las costas, las dunas y las tempestades de la humanidad. Cada grano de arena tiene su importancia, por muy pequeño que sea, es un universo, que viaja y se pule, modelado por el tiempo de las olas. Hay mucho donde elegir entre tanto sílice. Pondré mi atención solamente en dos de estos granos de arena, proponiéndome de forma testimonial, rendir un homenaje a mis progenitores, no sin antes aceptar de antemano el peligro y las trampas que me supondrá el desafío de hablar de mi familia.
The existence of each human being is comparable to a grain of sand lost in the immensity of the ocean and even seems to dust themselves, gathered up the coast, the dunes and the storms of humanity. Each grain of sand is important, however small, is a universe in itself, travelling and polished, shaped by the time of the waves. There are plenty to choose. I will put my attention on only two of these grains of sand, proposing as a token gesture, a tribute to my parents, but not before accepting in advance the danger and traps that will challenge me to talk about my family.

Resumen: La exposición Pinacoteca Psiquiátrica en España 1917-1990 presentada en la Universidad de Valencia en octubre de 2009 recoge más de trescientas obras artísticas de enfermos mentales provenientes de colecciones particulares e institucionales que en su mayoría han permanecido recluidas en el ámbito psiquiátrico y fuera de la esfera cultural. El interés de psiquiatras como Gonzalo R. Lafora, Joan Obiols o Ramón Sarró han hecho posible la conservación de las obras o de instituciones como el Hospital de Ciempozuelos, el de Toen o la asociación de Artistas Plásticos Línea Paralela entre otros. La mirada de los pacientes desde su vivencia de la locura se muestra atravesada por instantes de belleza y sufrimiento. Son capaces de conmover con imágenes inquietantes, extrañas y a su vez familiares que apuntan a lo siniestro como algo ajeno y a la vez cotidiano, atrayente y perturbador.
The exhibition Psychiatric Art gallery in Spain 1917-1990 presented in the University of Valencia in October, 2009 gathers more than three hundred artistic works of mental patients from particular and institutional collections who in the main have remained imprisoned in the psychiatric area and out of the cultural sphere. The psychiatrists’ interest like Gonzalo R. Lafora, Joan Obiols or Ramon Sarró have made possible the conservation of the works or of institutions as Ciempozuelos’s Hospital, that of Toen or Artists’ Plásticos Línea Parallel association between others. The look of the patients from his experience of the madness proves to be crossed by instants of beauty and suffering. They are capable of affecting with worrying, strange images and in turn familiar that they point at the sinister thing as something foreign and simultaneously daily, attractively and disturbing.

Resumen: Este artículo describe una experiencia de 10 años de arte y terapia con personas afectadas de trastorno mental severo en una comarca de Valencia (Gandía). Lo que empezó como un taller de creatividad y rehabilitación para un pequeño grupo de pacientes que vivían en una residencia dió paso, con el tiempo, a la fundación del Col.lectiu Obertament, una de las pocas asociaciones en España compuesta por personas afectadas por una enfermedad mental grave que utiliza como forma de acción social distintas expresiones artísticas. El artículo da cuenta de la capacidad del arte como elemento movilizador, integrador y desestigmatizante y del modo en que esta experiencia ha irradiado sus efectos más allá del grupo que directamente participa en ella.
This article describes a 10-year experience in art therapy with people suffering from severe mental disorders, which is taking place in the region of Gandia (Valencia). What began as a creative workshop and rehabilitation program for a small group of patients residents in a nursing home gave way to the founding of Col.lectiu Obertament which is one of the few Spanish associations made up entirely of people affected by a serious mental illness. Several artistic expressions have been used as a means of social action. The article reports on the ability of art as a mobilizing, integrating and nonstigmatizing element and how this experience has radiated its effects beyond the group who directly participate in it.

Resumen: En marzo de 2008 recibo la peor noticia de mi vida. Estoy enferma de cáncer de mama. Un tumor muy agresivo y de rápida extensión. En el difícil momento en que la doctora me lo comunica, yo le digo lo primero que se me ocurrió, que me iba a ayudar la arteterapia. La doctora se sorprende, nunca ha oído hablar de ello. La comunicación del diagnóstico fue muy dura y ante mi planteamiento la doctora y otras personas después me parecieron escépticas. En este texto junto con las imágenes narro mi experiencia durante la primera fase del tratamiento, la quimioterapia. El arte ya me había ayudado en otros malos momentos de mi vida y estaba decidida, esta era la ocasión para empezar una investigación conmigo misma como sujeto experimental.
In March 2008, I received the worst news of my life. I’m sick of breast cancer with a very aggressive tumor that it had a rapid expansion. In that diffi cult process when the doctor informed me, I said, the fi rst thing that occurred to me, which I was going to help art therapy. The doctor was surprised, he has never heard of it. The communication of the diagnosis was very hard and my approach to the doctor and others then I seemed skeptical. In this text and images I describe my experience during the fi rst phase of treatment, chemotherapy. The art had helped me in the others bad moments of my life and this time was the opportunity to begin an investigation with myself as experimental subject.

Resumen: Ilustrado mediante el caso de una niña que sobrevivió a abusos sexuales, se trata de cómo utilizar arteterapia con personas que han sufrido algún tipo de trauma. Se expone un resumen de algunas teorías en torno al trauma y se habla también de la importancia con estos pacientes del setting, de la formación del vínculo terapéutico y de la elección de materiales adecuados.
How to use art therapy with trauma survivors is illustrated through the case of a child survivor from sexual abuse. Some theories about trauma are explained, as well as how important it is with these patients to maintain the setting, to nurture the therapeutic bond and to choose carefully the art materials.

Resumen: En este artículo inicialmente se realiza una revisión teórica de la construcción de la identidad y el sí mismo en la adolescencia, desde autores constructivistas como Piaget, Kegan y Guidano, para luego resaltar las implicancias del abordaje psicoterapéutico en esta etapa vital. En este plano, se considera el Arteterapia como una modalidad de trabajo que ofrece una amplia gama de posibilidades en la psicoterapia con adolescentes. Finalmente se presenta un estudio de caso, en que se muestra cómo en un proceso terapéutico se llevaron a cabo diversas técnicas de Arteterapia con resultados positivos.
Initialy it’s made a teoric revision of the identity construction and the concept of self in the adolescence, from constructivist authors like Piaget, Kegan and Guidano, highlighting the implications of the psychotherapy approach in this vital stage. From this perspective the Arttherapy is considerated a way of work with a large range of posibilitys in the psychotherapy with adolescents. Finally it’s presented a case study, were it’s shown how in a therapeutic process several techniques of Arttherapy were used with positive results.

Resumen: El artículo sintetiza la intervención con arteterapia en niños y adolescentes durante seis años en un centro de atención integral a inmigrantes en Madrid. Pone en relación la expresión artística y la salud psicosocial. En este contexto, es arte la obra que nos ayuda a enfrentarnos a las dificultades positivamente. Se presenta el programa general y se analiza el ejemplo de “La Rayuela”.
The article summarizes the art therapy intervention in children and adolescents for six years in a comprehensive care center for immigrants in Madrid. It brings together the artistic expression and psychosocial health. In this context, art is the work that helps us to deal with the problems positively. General program is presented, and “Hopscotch” is deeply discussed as an example.

Resumen: Se describe la relación establecida entre el escultor Ángel Ferrant y Bienvenido Martín Hergueta, alumno suyo de la Escuela de Artes y Ofi cios de Madrid en la década de 1940, que padecía siringomielia. El artículo muestra el encuentro con el escultor y el proceso de acompañamiento de una persona con dificultad a través de sus producciones artísticas.
There is described the relation established between the sculptor Ángel Ferrant and Bienvenido Martin Hergueta, his pupil at the Madrid Arts and Crafts School during the 1940s, that suffered siringomielia. The paper shows the encounter with the sculptor and the process of accompaniment of a person in difficulty across the artistic productions.

Resumen: Observando la historia de los museos podemos decir que ha existido una evolución en cuanto a la preocupación por el visitante y en cuanto a la educación desde sus comienzos hasta nuestros días. En este artículo nos disponemos a crear vínculos de asociación y criterios de aplicabilidad a favor de una educación galerística. Es decir, plantearemos la posible apertura de las galerías a un público menos especializado en aras de la educación en arte contemporáneo teniendo en cuenta la opinión de los propios galeristas
If we study the history of museums from its beginnings until recent times we can observe an evolution in the concern for visitors and their education. The aim of this article is to create associational links and applicability criteria in favour of an art gallery education; that is, we shall consider the possibility of an opening of art galleries to a less specialised audience for the sake of a wider education in contemporary art, always taking into account the viewpoint of the art gallery owners.

Resumen: Este texto aborda las experiencias migratorias teniendo a las mujeres como protagonistas del proyecto, tratamos de exponer la diversidad y subjetividad del fenómeno. Asimismo, exponemos la experiencia llevada a cabo con un grupo de mujeres tratando de demostrar como la creación artística puede ser una vía en si misma para la integración social.
This text addresses the migration experience having women as protagonists of the project, trying to expose the diversity and subjectivity of the phenomenon. Furthermore, we present the experiment conducted with a group of women trying to demonstrate how artistic creation can be a way in itself for social integration.

Resumen: Este texto realiza una aproximación a la práctica expositiva desde los discursos generados en el museo. El objetivo es plantear la posibilidad de diseñar proyectos de comisariado desde ámbitos exclusivamente pedagógicos. Para ello se revisarán algunas de las experiencias artísticas y expositivas desarrolladas a lo largo del siglo XX que han abierto un nuevo camino hacia este tipo de prácticas. El desarrollo de éstas facilitará la incorporación de los usuarios del museo a sus políticas expositivas.
This text is an approach to exhibition practices based on the discourses performed in the museum. The objective is to set out the possibility of designing curatorial projects in a purely pedagogical context. With this aim, some of the most innovative art and exhibition practices of the twentieth century will be reviewed. The development of these will facilitate the incorporation of museum users into its exhibition policies.
